Paper Wasp Nest

Found this yesterday....bigger than a basketball
any suggestions?
Not really a paper wasp at all....
Sometimes known as a black and white yellow jacket
or a bald faced hornet.

Plus a Tropical Rain Forest Garden thingy....and the
HUGE Weeping Willow was cut down!

and if you want to see the rest of the pictures go to
the Potts Photobucket site and check them out.

Click Here for Video of Ken's Adventure Today

Click on this first video after you click the heading above
Then...call ken for the full story.
This is a Quote on Gary Walter's Blog about Ken.

"Taking us out of the lakes area was Ken Potts. A friend of a friend who I met back in Brainerd. Ken navigated us through the metro trails and all the way to Farmington. He was a God send. Without him I am sure we either would have gotten lost or at a minimum the blading would have been difficult. He knew all the trails and I must admit even though I was tired by this time I enjoyed the miles of smooth, winding and scenic trails."

I am so proud of my BIG brother.

203 Calle Questa is only a Memory.....

Well, after over a year on the market, our house in Fritch, TX has FINALLY sold!! We have many memories in this house as we lived there for 2 years, but we are glad to be out of there and onto greener pastures here in Meeker, Co now. Our Texas days are over and now we can finally put it all behind us. We can finally live a lot more stress free with the wait of this house off our shoulders now. Our patience has paid off :-)

August at the Lake

Another Beautiful Sunset on Pike Lake!
Caught on the infamous Tiger Mouse...
What else??? Ken, note the arm is bent and the
smile is a grimace due to the fish weight.

This was the little one I caught....the BIG one
really did get away....with dad's million years
old Hula Popper and some of my line.
We had a great time...
Wish everyone had been there!
