Maybe not everyone had a chance to meet Merlin in the last 1.5 years, but he was a great beta fish that swam hard through all of my trials during this time that even made the trek down to Florida with me (picture of our trip).
Tonight I said goodbye and buried him by sea (toilet) as he passed on. It surprised me how teary eyed I became as he was not my first lost beta fish. Alas, this is the sorrows of living life to the joys of the memories that we have as we build new ones.
May you all enjoy such pleasure in those around you, whether they be fish, dogs, cats, horses, or people.
