Month One!

So I have made it to Ukiah and am having a blast so far! It is beautiful here. My job takes me all the way to the coast, which is about an hour's drive over twisty roads through the redwoods and to many other diverse settings.I went met up with a great group of about 12 people and went for an overnight kayak trip through the wilderness area (on BLM land) over the 4th of July weekend which was a blast!

I have been riding my horses a ton since I have been here. All the other people who board their horses here too are very nice and love to ride, so they have been getting me out a lot more which is great!

And I have gotten a new puppy- she is an 11 month old lab/border collie mix. Her name is Gracie and she has much more of a lab look than border collie. You almost wouldn't know there is much in her...until she goes after your toes and feet to nibble and herd you ;) She has tons of energy and a better name for her may have been Spaz...but she is a very sweet dog that just LOVES people.
