
This was St. Patrick's Day at the Bogus Creek Cafe in Stockholm, Wisconsin. Our presence there was accidental. the place was closed for a special group (The sign said, Welcome, Women of Bethel). Jim had walked in behind the "group" not knowing it was closed to the public. (Bus driver, maybe?) But we were graciously served by the owner and chef supreme, Colleen Flynn, a wonderful meal. A bit of the Irish luck involved here, perhaps!

On the way there we stopped in Maiden Rock City Park and gazed at the River with ice just starting to recede in spots. the Eagles like to fish off those cracked ice areas. As we turned around we saw the hills behind us and the quaint homes and businesses there before we crossed the railroad tracks and took a picture of the moving train going through below:
